A Personal Tour

Caitlyn worked really hard on this, and we decided to make a movie before we had to pick it up for the night.



I've got to figure this out... somehow the sound gets off when I upload. Is anyone even watching these?? Any suggestions?

First day

Well, not quite. The first day of school was on Tuesday (I forgot to take a picture), so I took this one on Wednesday, and am now just getting around to putting it up. Still. They both like their teachers -- Ms. Music for Caitlyn; Ms. Pot for Megan -- and the art teacher, Mr D., who is "crazy" for Star Wars. Megan's even interested in starting up in the string program they have here. So, I guess the girls have had a good first week of school.

What we did last week

We spent every day at the pool! It was so hot -- over 100 degrees -- that the pool was a nice break. One day, it was so hot even in the shade, that I 'd bring over cups of water to dump on Kristen so she didn't get overheated. Still, we were incredibly grateful for the pool; I don't know how the heat would have been bearable without it!
Caitlyn's come a long way from the first of the summer when she wouldn't even put her head under. Now, she's jumping in the deep end without a noodle!

Megan's good at making friends -- that's Amber in the front -- and likes diving down to the bottom (though she can't dive in). But that doesn't make a good picture.

Kristen hangs out in the shade and eats her toys. We let her stick her feet in if we go at night and there's shade. She'll have a great time at the pool... next year.

A Whole Decade

Hard to believe my oldest girl is already 10 years old. She had a great birthday... more pictures here.

Okay, this one is a bit silly.


I'm taking orders for the pictures. (Sears did it differently this time: I got a CD and I can print whatever I want off it.) I know Grandmas want 5x7 (does that include Grandma Harris??). Aside from that, let me know if you want a picture, and what size. There are additional ones over at Flickr, if you're not too keen on this one.

We can load a U-Haul. I'm not so sure about ABF. This was after it all came crashing down on us, and we'd removed some of the stuff... should have taking a picture of me holding it all up.

We splurged (not too much) for the boat ride rather than the caves. It was pretty fun. Dad even splurged and got milkshakes for the girls (though only Caitlyn drank it).
